Adaptation and Innovation

For the sake of this post, we're going to talk about innovators.

How do we innovate? Typically we do it either by adapting a product or a process. 

Product innovation typically involves the adaptation and/or redesign of an existing product. Whereas process innovation, involves finding new ways to do things by either creating or removing  a procedure. Both of these examples can be beneficial for your bottom line and help differentiate you from your competition. 

When looking at your product, what are you doing; improving a product or a process?
