“Maybe I’m a little brainwashed now, but after speaking with Tim Moore, he’s reinforced that people like interaction, and they get that in a downtown environment,” the developer said.
The City Council hired Moore’s Blue Haus Group, a promotion, marketing and real estate company that takes unused spaces and works to turn them into places to attract visitors, usually in the center of a city or town.
Mayor Elinor C. Carbone and Economic Development Coordinator Rista Malanca said they believe Blue Haus Group, a Hartford-based private real estate and economic development firm, can be a key player in revitalizing downtown.
